OPERA America’s National Opera Teacher and Educator Source (NOTES) offers a catalogue of exemplary opera learning materials developed by opera companies across North America.

The NOTES database enables K‒12 teachers and teaching artists to use opera as an entry point for introducing literature, history, theater, music, design, and visual arts to students. It offers lesson plans, assessment tools, video demonstrations, and other resources for easy classroom implementation.

NOTES was developed and launched in 2015 with support from the Hearst Foundations.
