Biography Glenn Paxton is an American composer. His first professional composing credit was the score to the Broadway musical, First Impressions (Alvin Theatre). Other musicals include W.R. and Daisy (Theatre West); the opera, Monticello (L.A. Theatre Works); and The Adventures of Friar Tuck, which received a Pulitzer Prize nomination (Eugene O'Neill Theatre).
Film composition credits include Dream Breakers, Vital Signs, Isabel's Choice, When the Legends Die, Dark Night of the Scarecrow, Charlie and the Great Balloon Chase, The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan, The Clone Master, The World of Willa Cather, When the Legends Die, and The Stately Ghosts of England.
The Lansing Symphony premiered his orchestral-choral composition, The Evening Sing, with the Great Lakes Quartet, the Michigan State University Chorale, and Clarissa Buggs, soprano.
Prairie Indigo, Paxton's CD of original piano music relating to that time and place, has been playing on over 125 radio stations across the county.
