David Strickland
Composer
Biography
David is a graduate of the Wayne State University School of Fine and Performing Arts and was a student of Detroit Symphony Orchestra Pianist Mischa Kottler and DSO Organist Raymond Ferguson. David previously served as the music director for Epiphany Church in Gramercy Park. He also is a composer. His opera, Phoenix Park, was produced by Downtown Music Productions, and his musical, The Trapped Family Singers (co-written by Ellen Schwartz) played at the Fringe International NYC Festival. His work has also been performed by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and by the National Symphony Orchestra of London.
