Vincenzo Grimani

Biography
Vincenzo Grimani (15 May 1652 or 26 May 1655 – 26 September 1710) was an Italian cardinal, diplomat, and opera librettist. His best remembered work is his libretto for Handel's Agrippina.

He owned his own opera house in Venice, the Teatro S Giovanni Grisostomo (now known as the Teatro Malibran), and the operas he collaborated on with composers such as Pallavicino and Tosi were all produced at this theatre.
