Synopsis
The story takes place during a 24-hour period, beginning in the evening, and centers on the consciousness and life experience of the central character and protagonist, The Writer. Throughout the opera, real-time events and interactions between the characters, and imagined, dream-like reminiscences unfold and overlap one another episodically.
