Flurry Tale
Composer:Rusty Magee
Librettist:Billy Aronson
Synopsis
A touching, whimsical, new holiday opera about communication, FLURRY TALE is packed with slapstick, wit, and rhythm for children of all ages, and topical references a-plenty for adults. It will engage everyone from 6 to 96. When Emma's distracted Dad proclaims his disbelief in Santa Claus and talking snowmen, a cast of familiar holiday figures set out to prove that they really do exist-- resulting in zany, comical adventures. After much squabbling among themselves, the mismatched group ultimately plot Dad's downfall, until Emma reminds them all of the compassionate nature of the season.
