Mario and the Magician

Synopsis
In this Faustian story, set in Fascist Italy, the sinister magician Cipolla causes hotel guests and local folk to perform embarrassing acts and draws even the worldly Herr Dorn, who considers Cipolla a fake, under his spell. The lowly Mario, a waiter who has been similarly hupnotized, breaks the spell and shoots the magician.
