Synopsis
The opera unfolds through Myshkin's eyes and mind, he is never seen. The story centers on the love of Prince Myshkin for the beautiful Nastasia, his unwilling betrothal to Aglaya the youngest daughter of General Yepanchin, his battle with mental illness and his final tragedy, Nastasia's murder and his relapse and retreat to madness.
