Synopsis
Caroline, an African-American woman working for a Jewish family in Louisiana, is adored by their eight-year-old son, Adam. But a misunderstanding over money left in his pocket becomes the springboard for a penetrating exploration of themes relating to race relations, poverty, generational conflict, redemption, forgiveness, and hope.
