Dream Sequence
Composer:Alan Stringer
Librettist:Alan Stringer
Synopsis
The Self has returned to his earliest home. The Mother is there. The two remember the beauty of life there. The Mother vanishes and is replaced by The Minister. The Self becomes interested in a book which contains all the secrets and answers. The Minister allows him to sit and read. The Minister sings that he once too wanted to know what the book contains but that now is content to help others. The Minister admits that he really knows nothing. Before The Self can finish the book The Minister tells him that others are coming to look at the house and perhaps buy it. He helps The Self to leave as others enter the room. (Based on an actual dream)
