A Circle of Love
Composer:Alan Stringer
Librettist:Alan Stringer
Synopsis
Love is awakened in a series of encounters on a single night: A grandmother brings a candy bear to her granddaughter. A dog eats the bear and its sweetness causes him to love the moon. The song of the dog awakens the cold moon whose beams cause a flower to bloom, which in turn sends a bee into a frenzy of affection for the world. The barking of the dog and the light of the moon have kept the grandmother awake. She returns with another candy bear.
