Synopsis
Villagers singing at Don Corsinio's wake see him move. Stealing his possessions, they flee in terror. Awakened now, he "sees" his dead wife as Santa Barbara. She explains why he was presumed dead and why he is not guilty for her death (which he had believed). She tells him to remarry and vanishes. The villagers return, and he bids good-bye.
