Synopsis
Psychiatrist Dr. Hoffman refuses to give Madame Adare further treatment unless she pays her past bills. She becomes angry and tries to shoot him. Diaghilev persuades her of the glory of the stage so so she becomes an opera singer. After she has become successful she returns to pay Hoffman but he refuses saying her mental condition is what enables her to sing so well. She becomes angry and shoots him.
