Synopsis
A computer hacker enters cyberspace in order to dream. His lover follows him into a virtual world while his parents, the media, a televangelist, and the military industrial complex maneuver to influence the outcome. THE SINGING is about hunger and desire+--+for human contact, for knowledge+--+as computer technology replaces intimacy between people, with words on a screen.
