The Scarlet Princess

Synopsis
A priest, Seigen, is confronted with the reincarnation of a boy whom he loved and with whom he had a suicide pact, which the priest betrayed. This boy returns as Princess Sakura and eventually destroys him. The Priest recognizes Sakura as the reincarnation of the boy, but Princess Sakura isn't conscious that she is a reincarnation, at least at first. She sets about leading her own life, and in doing so inevitably takes actions, which to her seem the logical consequences of her present life. Those who know more of the larger cycle of destiny in which she is caught (the audience) will be aware that the actions are also a result of the past.
