The Tell-Tale Heart
Composer:Bruce Adolphe
Librettist:Bruce Adolphe
Synopsis
Maestro Robert W. Butts has re-imagined one of literature's most powerful short stories. Creating his own libretto as well as composing the music, Maestro Butts has maintained the tense ambiance of the story. In the process, he has created memorable characters from the largely ambiguous original stories, complete with a couple of surprises. The music is contemporary, charged with the intensity and energy of Poe's narrative.
