Synopsis
Written to reinforce the tenets of the D.A.R.E. program, the opera focuses on a young teenager ("Puppy") and his friends who learn not only to say "no" to drugs and alcohol but also to skillfully deal with peer pressure, conflict resolution, self-esteem and decision making in their everyday lives. The educational opera is a partnership project with the Houston chapter of D.A.R.E. through the Houston Police Department.
