The Arc
Composer:Stephen Weinstock
Librettist:Sarah Schlesinger
Synopsis
The Arc is a setting of the Noah story, focusing on the 120-day period after The Flood, but before any dry land or olive branches appeared. Noah, Namuh, and the animals are adrift at sea, losing their faith, and on the edge of violently turning against one another. Only when they begin to resolve their conflicts does the arc of the rainbow appear.
