Synopsis
The Prologue and Epilogue take place at a boy's boarding school in England (1880) where Rudyard Kipling wins a prize for his short stories. The stories come to life in India. Kipling becomes Mowgli, the boy raised by wolves. The animals reject him because he is a man, but he is adopted by a kind woman whose son was killed by a tiger. Through these experiences, Mowgli gains wisdom and inner strength.
