Synopsis
Based on the Henry James novel, "On the Wings of a Dove" But set in the 21st century on the fictional South Pacific island of Soon Rafa, and with the rich heiress is a gay heir. Lovers, Mariana and Kai, from different social classes are prevented by Mariana's Aunt Leila from marrying until a dying, rich foreigner and wildlife documentary filmmaker comes to the island looking for the mythical bird, the Scarlet Messenger as his last wish. The foreigner falls in love with Kai and Kai is pushed into a deal by Mariana to inherit the money so they can live happily ever after. But when everything works out to plan, the guilt is more than the two can bear. Luscious, rich harmonies and beautiful ensembles, arias and duets. Flexible to be cast with many different backgrounds of singers.
