MISSION STATEMENT
Formed in 1998, the Catherine French Group works with symphony orchestras, opera companies, presenting organizations, performing arts centers, music festivals, schools of music, and other music and arts organizations as they recruit chief executives as well as senior management and artistic personnel. CFG has assisted with more than 350 recruitment efforts for clients that include major institutions such as the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and Carnegie Hall; professional orchestras such as the National Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta Symphony and the Houston Symphony; professional opera companies such as Houston Grand Opera, San Francisco Opera, and Detroit Opera; multi-disciplinary arts presenters such as Washington Performing Arts, Cal Performances at the University of California, Berkeley, and Omaha Performing Arts; educational organizations such as Levine Music, the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, and Music Academy of the West; and community-based music and performing arts organizations across the country.
