Two brothers: Andrew, a born farmer; Rob, poetic, wants to see the
world. Both brothers betray their character destinies, as Rob loves Ruth
and decides to stay on the farm, while Andrew travels the world in
search of fortune. Both brothers fail in their efforts, as Ruth grows to
hate Rob, wishing she'd married Andrew; Andrew loses his money. Rob
dies of tuberculosis as he watches his last sunrise.
