Synopsis
The story of a shipwreck and of a young man by the name of Orlando Puffin who enjoys the peace of isolation and relishes comparisons to Robinson Crusoe. Puffin, however, is shocked and disappointed to discover that the island isn’t deserted. The interaction between Orlando and a group of female University scholars on a special outing to study Shakespeare is handled most amusingly. To further the humorous intrigue, Dr Orlando Puffin is actually a professor from the same University. Romantic interests unfold and to complicate the tangled but amusing plot, a group of boy scholars in Oceanography suddenly appear, also from the same University. All bicker about who should have rights to the island. Life is indeed a rare combination of purpose and accident.
