Faith has just been through a divorce. She takes out a personal ad to see if she can find a new life and love. One of the responses is from a mysterious man, Gardiner Allen. As his name suggests, Gardiner has a magical way with plants. He even talks to them. Faith grows to accept Gardiner's eccentric talent, and they eventually fall in love.
