Synopsis
Based on Stephen Crane's vivid short story, THE BLUE HOTEL concerns a hotel owner in late 19th-century Nebraska who has some trouble with a foreign lodger paranoid about the dangers of the American frontier. After a few card games and some liquor, the foreigner picks a fight with the owner's son. He is victorious, but his gloating induces one of the guests to kill him.
